Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic saw us take a step back from face-to-face community fundraising, but once out of the lockdowns the Friends were busy in the background.
We have continued to raise funds and with our larger events such as Ladies Day and you may be surprised to know we sell Christmas cards for much of the year!!
The funds raised have continued to support the staff and patients at our community hospital. Recent purchases include parallel bars for the physio department, a transfer scales board which is a piece of equipment to help the nurses transfer patients who are bed bound. The transfer board weighs the patients at the same time saving further handling to a weighing chair. These things make such a difference to poorly patients and to the staff caring for them. We couldn't provide this without the support of you and our community. Thank you.
